ISRAEL : Israeli security forces launched an air strike targeting a 13-storey building that housed the office of Hamas’ political leadership.
There has been intense conflict between Israel and the Palestinians over the past few days.
Clashes between Palestinians and Israeli security forces erupted, especially last Monday at the al-Aqsa shrine. Many were injured on both sides in the clash.
Hamas, which controls the Gaza Strip in retaliation for the attack on the Palestinians, launched a rocket attack on Israel yesterday.
The Israeli military retaliated, killing more than 20 people, including Hamas.
Following this, both sides have been engaged in a series of attacks throughout yesterday.
In this situation, the Israeli security forces carried out another air strike in the Gaza Strip yesterday. The bomber struck shortly after noon in front of a 13-storey building in the Gaza Strip.
The building, known as the Gaza Tower, was reportedly the office of the political leadership of Hamas.
Hours before the Israeli attack, all civilians in the 13-story building were evacuated to safety.
Thus, tensions remain in the area as both sides continue to attack despite the avoidance of major casualties.Leave a comment
