The Indian corona virus (Covid-19) variant now dominates one-fifth of the UK.
The latest data b 1.617.2 variant is now referred to as delta. It dominates 67 (21 per cent) of the 315 local government areas.
There were at least five infections detected in the two weeks ending May 22nd.
This means that, in those areas, the variance ranges from 51 percent to 100 percent.
In all, 230 local officials (73 percent) reported at least one outbreak, according to the most recent data from the Wellcome Sankar Institute.
