UNITED KINGDOM : The first dose of corona vaccine will be given to anyone over the age of 18 in Britain, the health ministry said on Sunday.
The announcement comes ahead of the easing of some corona restrictions in the UK on Monday.
So far, 87.8 per cent of 18-year-olds in the UK have been given the first dose of the corona vaccine.
The government has also set a target of giving two doses of the vaccine to two-thirds of 18-year-olds by Monday.
Prime Minister Boris Johnson has decided to ease restrictions in the face of a recovery in the economy despite an increase in the number of patients due to the rapidly spreading delta variability.Leave a comment
