EU approves fourth vaccine

The European Union (EU) has approved a fourth vaccine in the fight against the corona virus.

The European Pharmaceutical Organization has approved the Johnson & Johnson vaccine, which is manufactured in the United States.

The EU expects the first deliveries in April. Germany is set to receive 36.7 million doses.

Meanwhile, Lothar Weiler, chairman of the Corona Prevention Committee in Germany, said that about 1 million lives had been saved in Germany due to measures such as a general freeze to control the spread of corona.

He also warned that there was a risk of a third corona virus outbreak in the country.
