EMA receives AstraZeneca+Oxford vaccine approval application

Europe’s drugs regulator will survey AstraZeneca and Oxford University’s COVID-19 vaccine this month under a quickened course of events, after the British drugmaker presented an application for contingent endorsement, the regulator said on Tuesday.

The European Medicines Agency  said it would quick track the appraisal of the application and could give an assessment on a contingent showcasing authorisation by Jan. 29 at a gathering of its human medicines committee .
