Delays removal of Covid borders in Britain

UNITED KINGDOM : The government, led by Prime Minister Boris Johnson, has decided to delay the removal of Britain’s current Covid-19 restrictions by four weeks beyond June 21.

Senior UK ministers have agreed to the decision, and Prime Minister Boris Johnson has decided to maintain the Covid limit and extend it until July 19.

This decision has been taken especially with regard to the Delta variety which is prevalent in the country.

As a result, vaccination in Britain has been further accelerated, and the British government says it is working to prevent a third wave of infection.
