The sculptor who designed the famous bull statue on Wall Street in the state of New York in the United States has passed away at the age of 80.
The statue, called the Charging Bull, was designed by Arturo di Modica. Arturo, who came to New York in 1973 from Italy, is an expert sculptor.
He created the bull statue to mark how the United States recovered from the stock market crash of 1987.
He designed the bronze statue worth 464,000 silver at his own expense.
Arturo placed the statue on Wall Street at night with his friends without the government’s permission. After that, the world saw the statue and forgot about it.Leave a comment
