Chief medical officers have approved the vaccination of children 12 to 15 years of age in Britain.

Also, they have suggested that young people be given a single dose of the Pfizer vaccine.

The government has recommended that children be vaccinated against Covid after considering various aspects, including preventing the spread of Covid infection to students in schools. This is an effective measure to minimize disruption.

According to this decision, the Pfizer-BioNtech vaccine for healthy boys will soon be injected. 30 lakh children will be eligible to be vaccinated. The vaccine is expected to be dispensed through schools.

Currently the goal has become to vaccinate as many children as possible to reduce the spread of infection and variability in the community.

The European Pharmaceuticals Association (EMA) approved the use of the Pfizer vaccine for boys aged 12-15 in May this year.

It is noteworthy that Pfizer vaccine is currently being given to boys aged 12-15 in countries including Denmark, Germany and France in the European Union.
