Britain plans to provide shelter to Afghans

UNITED KIMGDOM : The British government has said it will provide asylum to people fleeing Afghanistan.

It is expected to provide shelter to about 20,000 people in the coming years. The British government has announced that it will accept 5,000 people in the first phase.

New plans have been announced in Britain to help Afghans fleeing the Taliban.

It is noteworthy that women and children facing threats under this scheme will be given priority.
