Residents were forced to flee the area after a fire in a city in Washington state threatened an explosion.
According to the Grant County Sheriff’s Office, a commercial structure fire at the Washington Potato Company in Warden, Washington.
Warden is located 90 miles southwest of Spokane.
The city has a population of approximately 2,800, according to a recent Census Bureau estimate.
It is unknown at this time what he will do after leaving the post.
Authorities have issued a third-degree clearance that means “GO NOW” for “All areas west of Road U-SE and south of SR170, Warden. The sheriff’s office said in a Twitter message.
“Law enforcement officers will go door-to-door and notify Level 3 people.”
Authorities said no injuries had been reported so far.
The Gordon County Sheriff’s Office tweeted, “The Red Cross #WordenFire can help the displaced.”
According to the Washington Potato Company, which owns the Oregon Potato Company, it is known for “premium quality dehydrated and dehydrated potato products locally and worldwide.”
