The Brazilian Health Regulatory Authority has approved the AstraZeneca vaccine following an outbreak of corona virus infection in Brazil.
Speaking on the occasion, Gustavo Mendes, Director General of the Brazilian Health Regulatory Commission, said:
‘AstraZeneca’s final phase of study has been approved following satisfactory data.
We have decided to intensify the vaccine production work with the Brazilian company Biogres. ‘
It is noteworthy that the serum company AstraZeneca vaccine is already being used for emergencies in Brazil.
